Apple released their second Indoor Mapping Data Format (IMDF) beta this past week and Jibestream-created IMDF maps have been validated by Apple as meeting expected standards to IMDF deliveries. Apple works with venue owners and platform providers that create, update and render IMDF maps for use in Apple Maps, enabling Apple’s Indoor Positioning for use in the venue’s consumer app, as well as private enterprise apps.
Jibestream underwent Apple’s extensive process to validate the creating and updating of IMDF through our APIs. Being a validated provider extends developers the ability to work with Jibestream’s APIs to address a variety of indoor mapping use cases including indoor wayfinding, asset tracking and more.
Jibestream offers the world’s most scalable platform that equips developers with the tools to add indoor #MapsInYourApps. Jibestream is renowned for their approach to making indoor spaces addressable by integrating business data with indoor maps.
