Why is Sysorex changing its name to Inpixon?

Changing our name to Inpixon signifies a shift in corporate strategy that has been underway for over a year. We chose our new name to reflect our focus and investment in innovative intelligence and security solutions for the indoors. We are bringing indoor locations into the modern era by leveraging Inpixon’s patented technologies and delivering insightful intelligence using sophisticated data sciences with ultra-fast data mining, machine learning, and sensors.

How did you come up with Inpixon? What does it mean?

Inpixon is all about securing and empowering indoor locations with sensor technology, capturing data and depicting complex customer insights. The ‘X’ in Inpixon represents the convergence of the physical and the digital worlds as we combine real world locations and wireless devices to create a unique user experience.

How will this brand change impact me?

Along with our name, our website and email addresses will be changing to Please update any saved webpages and contact email addresses. We are still the same, dependable team you have been working with for Indoor Positioning Analytics, IT infrastructure and security offerings, professional services, IT integration, engineering solutions, and government offerings, with a new name and new logo.

Will this change affect the kinds of products and services you offer?

Our existing products will be consolidated and rebranded from AirPatrol and LightMiner to Indoor Positioning Analytics (IPA). This product family will be sold as a single bundle of features consisting of Insights, Data Sciences, and Sensors. Shoom by Inpixon will remain a stand-alone product.

How does this change affect VAR Customers & Partners?

VAR business continues to be our strength in the marketplace under Inpixon Infrastructure. Through our superior technical and customer service teams, Inpixon remains absolutely committed to maintaining and enhancing our great relationships with VAR customers and partners.

How will this change affect Federal customers?

Inpixon Federal will replace both Sysorex Government Services (SGS) and Integrio. We will continue to provide the same great services we have for the past 30 years.

What is the Community Hub?

The Inpixon Partner Portal is a marketplace of opportunity, comprising of our products and solutions in conjunction with our channel partners, integrators, resellers and systems integrators. This is a place where partners can develop offerings based on their expertise, such as security enhancements or an additional path through vertical expertise.

Is Inpixon the official company name?

Yes! Inpixon is now our official company name. All products and services will reflect this change as we move forward.

How will this affect your stock listing?

The Company’s common stock will begin trading on The Nasdaq Global Select Market (Nasdaq) under its new name and the trading symbol “INPX” effective March 1, 2017.
