About the Role

Location: Berlin (hybrid) 
Reports to: Head of Product
Work Model: Full-time, permanent
Work authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Germany - no visa sponsorship

You will work directly alongside the Head of Product as a hands-on partner across the full product lifecycle of Inpixon's industrial software platform.

This is a high-ownership role from day one. You will produce structured written artifacts - specifications, documentation, analyses, workshop materials - that feed directly into product decisions, customer engagements, and leadership reviews. Pace is fast; expectations on clarity and structure are high.

The role is structured to grow into a full Product Manager position over 12–18 months, based on demonstrated ownership.

What You'll Do

 

Product Specification & Documentation (primary)

  • Translate customer requirements and architecture decisions into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and Jira-ready specifications
  • Maintain and improve product documentation, feature taxonomies, and internal knowledge surfaces (Confluence, Notion)
  • Produce structured Word, PowerPoint, and Confluence artifacts to leadership and customer-facing standard
  • Contribute to backlog refinement and sprint preparation alongside engineering

Customer & Use-Case Analysis

  • Synthesize customer feedback, support tickets, and usage data into actionable input for product decisions
  • Build comparative analyses across RTLS technologies (Wirepas, BLE, GPS, LiDAR, RFID) and customer scenarios
  • Identify reusable patterns across industrial use cases - manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, energy
  • Support pre-sales solutioning and integration scoping with mentorship, growing into independent ownership over time 

askPixi & AI Product Surface 

  • Contribute to the evolution of askPixi, our conversational AI layer over location and operational data

  • Develop a working understanding of how AI integrates with RTLS and enterprise systems (ERP, MES, WMS) 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, Professional Services, and Sales - through and alongside the Head of Product
  • Contribute to internal product communication and enablement materials
  • Support customer-facing discussions as you build domain depth

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in Product Management, B2B SaaS engineering, technical consulting, or solution engineering
  • Strong written communication: English C1+ and German B2+
  • Ability to read and reason about technical content - APIs, integration patterns, system diagrams - without translation
  • Demonstrated structured thinking: able to break down complex topics and produce clear written output under time pressure
  • Curiosity about industrial software, IoT, manufacturing, or logistics operations
  • Legally authorized to work in Germany (no visa sponsorship offered)

Strongly Preferred

  • Exposure to industrial environments, manufacturing, logistics, or B2B enterprise SaaS
  • Experience producing pre-sales artifacts, integration specifications, or solution designs
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and tooling: Jira, Confluence, Notion
  • Interest in AI product work; experience using AI tools to accelerate your own work
  • Familiarity with RTLS, UWB/BLE positioning, or industrial automation
