askPixi, Inpixon's location-aware agentic AI for industrial operations, has now received two independent industry recognitions since its market launch, most recently the 2025 AI in IoT Excellence Award from IoT Evolution World.

Inpixon announced today that askPixi, its location-aware agentic AI system for industrial operations, has been named a winner of the 2025 AI in IoT Excellence Award organized by IoT Evolution World, one of the leading online publications covering IoT technologies. These awards honor solution providers that have developed and deployed proven solutions and services for IoT leveraging AI and automation.

askPixi was launched in October 2025 as a purpose-built agentic AI system for factory and intralogistics operations. The system integrates real-time IoT sensor data, RTLS location intelligence, and enterprise systems including ERP, MES, and WMS to enable automated, data-driven decision-making on the shop floor. One of Inpixon’s askPixi customers is Siemens Energy where askPixi operates in conjunction with Inpixon's RTLS platform across a high-mix, engineered-to-order production environment. The project was inducted into the Champions Circle of the Microsoft Intelligent Manufacturing Award (MIMA) 2026, and with the 2025 AI in IoT Excellence Award from IoT Evolution World, askPixi now carries two independent industry recognitions less than a year after its market introduction.
"Most factories have invested heavily in enterprise systems, but two critical gaps remain: they are missing the real-time location layer that connects plan and reality on the shop floor, and by the time the right information reaches the right person, valuable time has already been lost. askPixi was built to close both gaps — combining live location intelligence with agentic AI so operations teams get the right answer at the right moment, and action follows immediately. Receiving this recognition tells us the industry is ready for that shift, and we are committed to making it practical and measurable for every customer," said David Almström, CEO, Inpixon.
askPixi addresses a structural challenge common to factory and intralogistics operations: between the moment an order is created in ERP and the moment it is reported as complete, there is an operational black box. IoT sensors, RTLS platforms, and enterprise systems capture data independently, without shared reasoning across systems. Critical dependencies remain invisible until a disruption has already formed, and by then, on-time delivery is already at risk.
askPixi resolves this by connecting these data sources into a continuous loop, monitoring KPIs, asset movements, and process signals, anticipating disruptions, and executing corrective actions within defined operational parameters. The system targets the use cases that matter most to production and intralogistics teams: predictive material risk, real-time bottleneck detection, adaptive shift and capacity planning, and on-time delivery protection. Teams query live conditions via a natural language interface and receive data-grounded responses without navigating multiple systems.
In an initial production deployment across approximately 1,500 tracked assets, askPixi delivered the following measurable results:
Up to 90% reduction in search time for parts and materials
Up to 20% higher parts throughput
Up to 50% fewer SAP posting deviations
Up to 25% improved dwell-time stability in critical zones
Up to 20% fewer congestion-driven interruptions on the shop floor
"The solutions selected for the AI in IoT Excellence Awards reflect leadership driving this fast-growing marketplace. It is my honor to congratulate Inpixon for their innovative work and contribution to this rapidly evolving industry," said Rich Tehrani, TMC CEO, and Group Editor-in-Chief for IoT Evolution World.
